Hello, Sherwin here.
I am a software engineer specializing in full-stack web development, with a focus on front-end expertise. With decades of experience, I believe that applications must be robust, reliable, standards-compliant, accessible, performant, and secure.
I am passionate about computer science and engineering. From my first line of code in BASIC and the initial encounter with my Atari, I knew that computing disciplines would be my lifelong pursuit.
Indeed, our computing journey has been incredible, catapulting with each iteration, from the abacus to machines that talk back, showcasing a glimpse of artificial intelligence grown from algorithms, data structures, and a sea of raw data. As we boldly go beyond a glimpse, a boundless list of problems to be solved awaits us. Thus, there is much work to be done.
By combining scientific rigor with engineering pragmatism, a versatile skillset emerges. I value first-principles thinking and systems thinking, and view problems from multiple angles.
My language proficiency spans systems languages (C++, C, Assembly), application languages (JavaScript, Java, Python, PHP), and domain-specific languages (HTML, CSS, SQL).
To me, computer science at its core is mathematics; without physics, it would be just pen and paper. By giving logic an engine, this discipline humbly fuels every other field of study.
